ABOUT
Grist Mill Farm is a boutique family run farm that provides boarding, training, showing, and sales services to riders of all levels in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation. Conveniently located in Dover, MA, Grist Mill Farm is roughly 30 minutes from Boston, 50 minutes from Providence and easy to get to from 495 and 95. In the spring and summer, GMF travels to various local and away shows culminating at finals in the fall, after which we head south to Ocala for the winter (January-April).
WHO WE ARE
Grist Mill Farm is family owned and operated by sisters Jen and Tracy Burke. The Burkes are a lifelong equestrian family with over 25 years of experience in Hunters, Jumpers, and Equitation. Growing up in Dover, the Burke sisters started their riding careers at Dana Hall and Woodridge Farm training under the expertise of head trainers Cookie DeSimone and Greg Prince. From Cookie and Greg, Jen and Tracy learned the importance of dedication, hard work, and horsemanship; values that drive and inspire them today. Grist Mill Farm's mission and number one priority is to provide and to teach the value and meaning of good horsemanship from the ground up. With such a strong emphasis on horsemanship, our goal is to create an environment where our horses, clients, and staff feel relaxed, healthy, and supported regardless of training level or experience. We believe that a positive learning atmosphere is the basis on which meaningful partnerships/relationships are built; and we strive to foster those relationships every day at Grist Mill Farm.
